We visited Han U Korean BBQ Restaurant in Torrevieja last week and, unfortunately, came away disappointed.
Nice decor
The restaurant itself is very nicely presented. The décor is attractive, modern and creates a good first impression. At €16.95 per person for all-you-can-eat, it also appears to offer very good value.
Sadly, the food didn’t live up to the surroundings. We found the overall quality quite poor and several dishes were disappointing. The service didn’t improve the experience either; we found it unfriendly and lacking in the basic warmth you would expect in a restaurant.
No Acknowledgement
One small thing at the end summed up the experience for us. We left €5 as a tip, but there was no acknowledgement or thank you, and our change was never returned.
Lovely décor and an attractive price, but based on our visit, the quality of the food and particularly the service would need to improve considerably before we would return.
