This is our opinion of La Tagliatelle at Alicante Airport – A Disappointing Experience
Airport restaurants often get a bad rap for being overpriced and underwhelming, and unfortunately, La Tagliatelle at Alicante Airport lived up to that stereotype during our visit on Monday, March 6th.
The décor was passable but dated, with badly ripped and poorly repaired banquet seating. The service? Unfriendly and unwelcoming, despite the restaurant not being busy. It’s a shame when staff seem so unhappy; it really affects the overall experience.
The food was where things really fell short. We ordered:
A Pasta Bolognese – tiny portion, barely any sauce (though it was tasty).
A Parmigiano Salad – essentially a few lettuce leaves with a sprinkle of cheese for a shocking €17.65.
Add a Coke and sparkling water, and the bill came to a whopping €42.35. What we received felt like a total rip-off.
Airport dining shouldn’t mean sacrificing quality or value. Sadly, La Tagliatelle missed the mark on both counts.
