This is our opinion of Armonia Restaurant – We had been meaning to try Armonia Restaurant in Quesada for a few weeks and finally booked a table for five of us last night.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and a genuine welcome. After being seated, the owner — I believe — came over personally to say hello and take our drinks order, which immediately set a pleasant tone for the evening.
The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, which was a pity, because it truly deserves to be seen and experienced. The décor is comfortable and elegant, creating a relaxed yet refined ambience.
Our Choices
We opted for the Week Menu, very well priced at €24.50 for three courses including a beverage. What isn’t mentioned on the menu, however, is the delightful surprise of an amuse-bouche. Ours was Œufs en cocotte — egg baked gently in crème fraîche with a tomato base. It was unexpected and absolutely delicious.
For starters, our table chose a mix of Venison Carpaccio, Smoked Salmon with Citrus, Foie Gras Ravioli, Country-Style Salad, and Scrambled Eggs with Truffle and Mushroom. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour — refined without being pretentious.
Another Surprise
Another surprise followed: a Champagne Froth Sorbet. This was exceptional — light, refreshing, and a perfect palate cleanser before the main course.
For mains, one of our guests chose the Farm Pork Loin with honey and sweet potato purée. While slightly on the fatty side, it was extremely flavourful. Others enjoyed the Fried Cod and the Grilled Rib Eye. For me, the Rib Eye was quite possibly one of the best I’ve had in Spain — perfectly cooked and full of character. Our guest who ordered the cod spoke very highly of it. The steak dishes were accompanied by wedge potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, carrots, and artichokes — all excellent.
By the time dessert arrived, we were comfortably satisfied, yet we couldn’t resist the House Dessert — a chocolate, peanut, and salted caramel butter cake. Sweet, rich, and indulgent.
The total bill for five came to €151. With a tip, it worked out at around €32 per person — outstanding value for the quality of food, service, and ambience delivered.
Well done to the team at Armonia. We genuinely hope to see this restaurant thrive — it deserves to.
